Account Settings Questions
I have set up a new account, but I can’t log in?
If you signed up for a new account and you're not able to log in, check your email to be sure that you received our welcome activation message. You then have to click on the activation link on this message to activate your account.
Forgotten your password?
If you can’t remember your password when you trying to log in, enter your log in email address and then hit the ‘Forgot your password’ button and then your password will be sent to you by email.
I have used the ‘Forgot your password’ button, but I have not received the email with my password reminder?
You may have used the incorrect email address when you have requested the password reminder. The password email reminder may be sat in the Junk folders within your email, make sure that emails received from Miss High Street are not marked as spam. If you still haven’t received he email please submit an email to contact@misshighstreet.com and put ‘Forgot your password’ as the title of the email.
Forgotten your logon email address?
Unfortunately, if you cannot remember the email address that is tied with the account in question, we cannot release the account to you. This is for security purposes, and may be frustrating but cannot be changed.
What is the profile picture used for?
Your profile picture will be shown to identify you when you follow a Fashion Bleater, or make a comment on a Fashion Bleaters latest update or will appear at the top of every bleat you post.
I can’t upload a picture into my profile picture?
Check the type of file you are trying to upload for your Profile picture. Miss High Street does not support all file types, but does support JPEGs & PNGs. Please try uploading your image in one of these formats.
The image you’re trying to upload must not be more than 5MB in size. Please re-size the image if it is larger than this maximum file size.
In the account settings, why is there a section to complete my Twitter and Facebook account login details?
Your Twitter and Facebook accounts can be linked to your Fashion Bleater account. Every time you bleat and update your Fashion Bleater account you have the option to also update your Twitter account and Facebook account with the same bleat. The choice to update your Twitter and Facebook account is a decision you have to make every time you bleat it is not an update that is automatic.
How can I change the password to my account?
When you need to change your password, visit ‘My account info’ page and at the bottom of this screen there is the option to change your password.
You will be required to enter your old password and the new password twice before it can be changed.
Share your style questions
How can I add an image to a ‘Share your style’ category?
To add an image to a ‘Share your style’ category you have to first of all be logged in. You can then add an image by going to the ‘Share your style’ category page and selecting the style category you wan to add an image into and then clicking on the ‘add image’ link. You can also add an image from the ‘Share your Style’ section within the account settings and then clicking on the ‘Share your style’ button.
Can I crop an image when I add it to a ‘Share your style’ category?
Yes, you can crop any image before you add it to a Share your style category. You will be asked by default to crop the image. You can either select the whole image so that you are not cropping it at all, or just select the part of the image you want to crop. Note, if you crop an image it will appear as a smaller image on your Share your style image, it will not be stretched to fit.
How can I view all of the pictures I have entered into the ‘Share your Style’ categories?
You can view all of the previous images you have posted into the ‘Share your Style’ categories by logging into your account and go to the ‘Share your style’ section. From there click on the ‘view all styles’ button, you can then scroll through your images one by one.
I have posted an image into a ‘Share your Style’ category but it is smaller than the space allocated for the image?
If you crop an image when you post it into a ‘Share your style’ category it will be not be stretched to fit, it will remain the original size of the photo. This is to prevent the images being distorted when they are uploaded.
A picture has been posted to the site without my permission – how can I get the photo removed?
If a photo of you has been posted by another user, anywhere on Miss High Street without your permission please email contact@misshighstreet.com and put ‘Photo removal’ in the title. In the email please detail, the username of the other user has posted the photo and where the photo appears on the website.
How can I delete a photo from the Share your style categories?
If you want to delete an image you have already posted to a ‘Share your style’ category, log into your account and go to the ‘Share your style’ section. From there find the image you want to delete by using the ‘view all styles’ button. Once you have found the image you want to delete, scroll down and there is a button under the image saying ‘delete image’.
Can I edit the text next to my ‘Share your style’ image after I have posted the image?
If you want to edit the text next to a ‘Share your style’ image after you have already posted it, then log into your account and go to the ‘Share your style’ section. From there find the image you want to edit by using the ‘view all styles’ button. Once you have found the image you want to edit, scroll down and there is a button under the image saying ‘edit image’. From here you can edit the image and the text relating to the image.
Fashion Bleater Questions
I can’t select the username I want for my Fashion Bleater account?
There a couple of reasons why you can’t select the Fashion Bleater username you want. Firstly, another user may already be using the username you desire – no username can be duplicated, they have to be unique. The username has to be 12 characters long and cannot exceed this limit.
I want to change the username on my Fashion Bleater account?
The username is changeable at any point. You can change your Fashion Bleater username by logging onto your Miss High Street account and then going to the ‘My Bleater info’ of the account settings, and changing the username here. Note, you can only change your Fashion Bleater username to something that is not already in use.
Someone is impersonating me through a Fashion Bleater account?
Impersonation is against the terms of service. If you come across an account where someone is impersonating you, please file a complaint to contact@misshighstreet.com and put ‘Impersonation’ as the title of the email.
How do I follow a Fashion Bleater so that I receive their style updates?
To follow a Fashion Bleater you have to set up a Fashion Bleater account yourself – Note, this is different from your Miss High Street log in. You have to specifically set up the Fashion Bleater part of your account before you can follow any of the Fashion Bleaters. You can set up your bleater account by going to the ‘My Bleater Info’ section of your account settings.
How can I delete someone who is following my Fashion Bleater?
If you want to remove someone who is following you, you need to hover over their Bleater profile picture in your ‘Following flock’ page and it will come up with the option to remove the follower.
How can I update my Twitter and Facebook accounts with my latest bleats?
Every time you post a bleat update to your Fashion Bleater account you have got the option to also update your Twitter account & Facebook account with the same update. To be able to update your Twitter & Facebook account you have previously got to complete your Twitter & Facebook log in details in your account settings section of your log on.
Once your Twitter & Facebook log in details have been completed you have the option every time you bleat to update these accounts as well.
What is a Bleater Profile Snap?
Your Bleater Profile Snap is an image that will feature when people view your Fashion Bleater page. The Bleater Profile Snap will also feed into the ‘Bleater Profile Snap’ page which features all of the Fashion Bleaters images - users will search through these images to find Fashion Bleaters they like the style of and then follow them.
How do I update / change my Bleater profile snap?
You can update your Bleater Profile Snap from a couple of places. Firstly, when you are logged in, you can go to the ‘My Bleater Profile Snap’ section within your account settings and the image can be changed from here. The image can also be changed from your Fashion Bleater page, and next to the Bleater Profile Snap which is featured on the right hand side of the page, there is an edit link next to the image. This edit link will take you directly to the page where you can change your image.
It won’t allow me to upload a photo for my Bleater profile snap?
Check the type of file you are trying to upload for your Bleater Profile Snap. Miss High Street does not support all file types, but does support JPEGs & PNGs. Please try uploading your image in one of these formats.

How do I add an image into a bleat?
Whenever you post a bleat update to your Fashion Bleater account, there is the option underneath the text box to ‘Add an image’. When you click on this ‘add an image’ link you will be directed to upload your image.
If I add an image into a bleat does it reduce the amount of text I can use?
If you incorporate an image into a bleat, it does not affect how many characters you can use in your bleat – you are still limited to 140 characters per bleat.

What is the MHS Bleater?
The MHS bleater link, is the official Miss High Street Fashion Bleater account. From this account you will receive updates on the best ‘Share the style’ entrant of the day and updates on what the Miss High Street Team are wearing.
What is the Fashion Bleater link?
The Fashion Bleater link takes you to a feed of all of the latest bleats from all of the active Fashion Bleaters. View this link to find Fashion Bleaters you like the style of and then follow them.
How can I unfollow a Fashion Bleater?
You can unfollow a Fashion Bleater by logging into your account and going to your fashion bleater page. From here go to the page that shows the profile picture of all the Fashion Bleaters you are following. Find the Fashion Bleater you want to ‘unfollow’, hover over their image and an option to delete them will pop up.
There is also an ‘unfollow’ button underneath every bleat posted by people you are following, by clicking on this button you will automatically unfollow them.
Can I delete a bleat once it has been posted?
Every bleat can be removed after it has been posted. Fashion Bleaters need to go to their Fashion Bleater page, and then underneath every bleat there will be a ‘delete’ button.
