I wanted this outfit to look high fashion and elegant.
I chose to layer a limited edition vintage printed bra bodice from Newlook over a plain vest dress from H&m to add detailing and a bodycon aesthetic. By adding a large leather waist belt (from Miss Selfridge) I gave the illusion that the bra was actually part of my dress. The contrast between the gold chains and grey floral/animal print provided a nice balance of texture.
I then chose to wear long black feather earrings from primark and suede fringed heels bought for a bargain £15 at Internationale. They can be worn with anything. I have even worn them during the day with either white or black ankle socks underneath for a quirky daytime look.
My straw bag from Primark offers simple elegance and looks amazing, especially as i paid £1 for it.
I tried to achieve a sensual but subtle evening look x
